Dr. Zain Maqsood (Project Researcher) attended 9TH ASIAN YOUNG GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERS CONFERENCE (9AYGEC) and 15TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING (15ICGE) held at Lahore, Pakistan on December 5-7, 2019. An oral presentation titled “Time-dependent strength and deformation characteristics of bounded geomaterials” was delivered in 9AYGEC, and a poster titled “Strength and deformation characteristics of bounded geomaterials under creep and cyclic loading considering loading rate effects” was presented in the poster session of 15ICGE. A shield was also presented by the Pakistan Geotechnical Engineering Society (PGES) to the author as a token of reward for his participation in 9AYGEC.
