Kameri Charan successfully defended his doctoral thesis on 18 Jan! His doctoral thesis title is “Characterizing pullout stiffness of geogrid considering the interaction with soil (土との相互作用を考慮したジオグリッドの引抜剛性に関する検討)”. Charan san conducted in-isolation tests for various types of geogrids and pull-out tests for various combinations of geogrid types and soil types. Using experimental data, Charan san proposed a model predicting the pull-out stiffness from the in-isolation stiffness of a geogrid.
