On 1 Nov, our students visited the research institute of Fudo Tetra Corporation. Fudo Tetra Corporation is known for their ground improvement technique to increase liquefaction resistance and also “tetrapod” wave blocks. They could watch the installation process of a sand pile and see facilities to study tidal waves. We thank the people from Fudo Tetra for organizing the visit and their hospitality!
