We had a welcome party for the newcomers in Izakaya close to the campus. In this autumn term, we welcomed two Master students (Yuan Sheng Leow san, Finian Barrett san), Omer Bilgin sensei (from University of Dayton, staying for a month), and Chun-Wei Wu san (from National University of Taiwan, staying for two months). New members demonstrated their abilities to drink alcohol (we didn’t ask or force to do so), which were beyond our expectations. New members have also given presentations regarding their experiences and ongoing / past research (or research interests). Our lab activities will be further active with them for sure!
