Some members joined DEM10, 10th international conference of Discrete Element Method, which was held in Himeji. It was very fortunate to have such a big and important international conference in Japan! I (Morimoto) saw many friends from my PhD study in UK. I also had dinner with my former supervisor, Prof. Catherine O’Sullivan.
