Laboratory Seminar／研究室セミナー
- Lab Seminar — Twice a month. Master students and Undergraduate students report progress of research.
- DC Seminar — Once a week. In each seminar, one doctoral student give a presentation.
- Joint Seminar — Twice a year. With Kuwano Lab and Kiyota Lab in IIS, doctoral students report progress of research.
and, sometimes we hold small seminars to study some topics and participate in seminars held by other organizations.
- 研究室ゼミ — 月に二回実施．修士学生および学部生が研究の進捗状況を発表．
- 博士課程ゼミ — 週に一回実施．博士学生が最近の研究動向について発表．
- 合同ゼミ — 年に二回実施．生産技術研究所の桑野研，清田研と合同で開催．博士学生が研究の進捗状況を発表．
その他，学生主導のゼミの開催，学会主催の講習会への参加もあります．
Recreation／レクリエーション
- Lab Party — After seminars, we sometimes have lab parties to make friends with each other and celebrate enrollment and graduation.
- Sports Recreation — Every year we enjoy sport recreation with other Civil Engineering or Geotechnical laboratories: Okamura Cup(Softball, baseball), Mikami Cup(Volleyball)
- Soil structure contest — Annually we participate in “Soil structure contest”, which is the competition of devising a construction method of geo-material held by Japanese geotechnical society(JGS) .
- 研究室パーティー — 歓送会や卒業など祝い事があるときには，研究室メンバーでパーティーを行います．
- スポーツ大会 — 社会基盤学科学生が参加するソフトボール大会・岡村杯，関東近郊の地盤工学関係者が参加するバレーボール大会（三上杯）
- ソイルストラクチャーコンテスト — 地盤工学会主催のソイルストラクチャーコンテストに参加し，日頃学んでいる地盤工学の知識を生かし，課題に取り組みます．
Curriculum／カリキュラム
- All students have to acquire enough credits for graduation and pass the final defense.
- Abroad students have to take Japanese language class.

- 全学生は卒業所用単位数を取得し，最終審査を合格しなければなりません．
- 留学生は日本語授業を受講しなければなりません．
