学部3年生向けに行っている授業（応用プロジェクトⅣ）の講義内容が認められ，土木学会より「田中賞選考委員会かけはし賞」を受賞しました（https://committees.jsce.or.jp/tanaka_sho/node/70）。「理論と実践に橋を架ける」というコンセプトの元、３Dプリンターによる橋梁模型の作成、載荷試験の実施、数値解析結果との比較を行う講義で、土質研（京川元講師と渡邉が担当）・橋梁研・コンクリート研の合同で行っています。このような新しいスタイルの講義内容・形態が評価されて嬉しく思っています。
Former lecturer Hiroyuki Kyokawa and Prof. K.Watanabe received the “Kakehashi” award of JSCE (Japan Society of Civil Engineers) on the new-form class for third-year undergraduate students (named Applied Project IV). Based on the concept of “bridging between theory and practice,” this class is an exercise-style one in which students make a bridge model using a 3D printer, conduct vertical loading tests, and compare the results with those of numerical analysis.
