本研究室卒業生のZafar Avzalshoev氏(2019年修士卒)と渡邉健治教授の論文が、ICE(英国土木学会)の2023年「Telford Premium Prize」を受賞しました。
Mr. Zafar Avzalshoev (formerly master student in our laboratory) and Prof. Kenji Watanabe, are awarded “Telford Premium Prize 2023″ from the ICE (British Institution of civil engineering) for the paper titled “Three-dimensional Dynamic Behavior of Embankments on Liquefiable Ground”.
This award is offered annually to the authors presenting the best paper in each journal published from ICE last year.
Congratulations!!
This is the comment from Mr. Zafar Avzalshoev.
“I am deeply honored and humbled to receive the ‘Telford Premium Prize 2023’ from the ICE alongside Prof. Kenji Watanabe for our paper titled ‘Three-dimensional Dynamic Behavior of Embankments on Liquefiable Ground.’ This award represents the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and a shared passion for pushing the boundaries of geotechnical engineering research.
I am incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to work under Prof. Kenji Watanabe’s guidance, who provided invaluable mentorship and inspired me to pursue excellence in research. This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without his support.
I sincerely thank everyone, especially my family, who has been a part of this journey and has supported our research. This accolade is not just a personal honor but a recognition of the collective efforts that drive progress in civil engineering.”
